Habitare Signature – Heini Riitahuhta x Jasmin Anoschkin

The Signature exhibition at the interior design fair Habitare brings together design and contemporary art and discovers what happens when well-known designers and architects pick their favorite works from the world of contemporary art. Signature is curated for Habitare by Katja Räisänen and Mia Dillemuth.

In this collaboration, Around Journal launches the concept of a dialogue between creators by inviting them to interview each other and talk about creativity. The interviews published online take the visitor more deeply into these creators’ minds. (Continues..)

MAN YAU

In her current exhibition, titled Delfu, artist Man Yau has experimented with materials and tools that are new to her. The result is a collection of art work where the human touch is no longer visible. “Learning the nature of the new material seemed liberating. As I worked in an isolated environment and without a clear plan, it gave me the opportunity to focus entirely on the creating and constructing in its entirety, but also forced me to deal with the relationship with my own artistic identity. Sculpting became a method to produce something which I can hardly describe in words.” (Continues…)
