Samuji’s creative studio and design house is based in Finland and was established in 2011. All items are crafted out of quality materials from European and Japanese suppliers and produced in Europe by carefully selected manufacturers. The Helsinki based life style brand’s ambition is to produce timeless and sustainable design that serves a purpose yet carries a story.

Samuji Talks is a conversation series about creativity, society, sustainability, aesthetics, art, and kindness hosted by journalist Ville Blåfield. Previous guests include bishop Irja Askola, author Pirkko Saisio and visual artist Karoliina Hellberg.

On the 21st of January Samuji Talks will interview journalist Anu Partanen whose book The Nordic Theory of Everything – In Search of a Better Life was published in the US last year. The book quickly became a bestseller. On the 25th of January in collaboration with Helsinki Documentary Film Festival DocPoint, the talk turns to director Reetta Aalto’s film Grey Violet – Odd One Out. The documentary film gives an up-to-date view on the state of Russian art activism.
